The Vista Mini is a simple but powerful metal detector built to work very well in the field for the novice to the hobby, without the headaches of confounding settings that detectors can carry.
The Vista Mini is really the simplest detector in our range and on the world, and it also comes with preset discrimination and it is also very reliable because it runs a lower kHz than the Mini Max.
Running at 7.6 kHz, when detecting several different sized objects, the Mini has good all-round efficiency, which also makes the machine suitable for finding very valuable items such as hammered coinage and other great treasures, all will be accessible to the beginners in the hobby using this detector if they are buried on the ground and within the parameters of the Mini.
You can also be assured that Vista Mini has a strong recovery speed that helps to locate what is very important in busy fields while trying to find objects around iron.
The Vista Mini only operates on a single audio tone, allowing you to quickly learn the detector easily, you can even hear the differences between shallow small items and larger deeper items alone after time through the audio tone.
You can use the all-metal mode when targets are located to help check and classify unwanted metals such as large iron (ferrous) products for which many machines can struggle.
With the preset discrimination channel that the Mini effectively uses, the smaller iron is silently taken care of.
With just the two control dials and a single toggle switch, DeepTech designed the Mini to be simple to use for any detectorist level in the hobby, you can't really get things wrong with what can make good detection sessions in return.
The only controls on the Mini are volume, sensitivity also one toggle switch, the toggle switch is multi-functional and makes ground balance for Disc mode and All-Metal Mode as well.
The All-Metal mode is perfect when all metals are to be detected and retrieved from the ground for archeological work.
On the Mini, ground balancing is very easy to do and once you have found a clean ground patch clear of all metallic artifacts, you just hold down the toggle switch then lift and lower the coil about six to seven inches off the ground. Once the detector falls silent in audio, the ground balance is complete, then just switch to disc mode and start detecting.
If you have mastered the simplistic controls, you can start detecting the Mini in the field in 5-10 seconds or less once you know it.
Well recommended detector for beginners and easy day advance detectorist.
